Duties and Responsibilities:
The Events Committee Chair is responsible for orchestrating successful community events that raise awareness of the club’s mission and inspire participation from like-minded individuals. Responsibilities include:

Strategic Planning:
Develop event goals and strategies in alignment with the club’s values and broader community initiatives. Coordinate with other committees to integrate their objectives into event planning. -
Committee Formation:
Recruit and lead a team of volunteers to assist with event planning and execution. Host regular committee meetings to align on goals and address challenges. -
Event Budgeting:
Collaborate with the Executive Committee to create and manage budgets that support impactful and cost-effective events. -
Vendor Management:
Select and coordinate with vendors such as venues, caterers, entertainers, and suppliers. Ensure all partnerships align with event needs and club standards. -
Logistics and Operations:
Oversee event logistics including registration, seating, ticketing, AV setup, transportation, and overall event flow. -
Evaluation and Reporting:
Collect feedback, analyze key metrics, and prepare post-event reports for the Executive Board to guide future planning.
