On June 14th, 2025 — Flag Day — the people of Tracy made history.
In the largest protest rally our city has ever seen, The Democratic Club of Greater Tracy proudly stood at the forefront of this movement. Preparing, organizing, and marching alongside fellow Democrats and community allies who believe in people over power, truth over tyranny. Spanning both Lowell Avenue and Tracy Boulevard, our community showed up and showed out — bold, unified, and unapologetically pro-democracy.
This wasn’t just one group. This was NO KINGS, a rally powered by The Democratic Club of Greater Tracy and Indivisible Tracy where we came in strong with the support of many community allies who believe in people over power, truth over tyranny.
🏡 The Prep Rally – June 11th
It all started at the home of longtime DCoGT member and leader of the club Cheryl, where Club members gathered to prepare for the event. Sign-making, energy-building, and rally prep took place in full force — setting the tone for what would become a monumental moment for our city.
🎤 Rally Highlights
At the rally, we were honored to hear from powerful voices, including:
Manuel Zapata, DCoGT member and Chair of the San Joaquin County Democratic Party
Assemblywoman Rhodesia Ransom, representing bold leadership and truth
Mayor Dan Arriola, speaking to the heart of our local community
From the crowd’s energy to the sea of signs, the outpouring of honks, cheers, and solidarity painted a clear picture: Tracy is awake, engaged, and ready to rise.
