On the evening of Wednesday October 14th, members of the Democratic Club of Greater Tracy and supporters of current City of Tracy Mayor Dan Arriola’s came together at The Lobby Bar in lovely Downtown Tracy to mix, mingle, celebrate, and raise funds for his reelection campaign. Campaigns are not won on hope and well wishes but require supporters to dig deep and contribute funding for ads and literature to hand out during canvassing, and it is at events like this where much of that fundraising is done.
The Lobby Bar is one of Tracy’s newest (and among its most chic!) establishments, providing the perfect backdrop for the evening’s festivities. Attendees included current California State Assemblywoman Rhodesia Ransom (also running for reelection), who spoke of her friendship with Dan and exhorted those gathered to give…and give generously! Current candidates for Tracy City Council Robin Cole (District 1), Ametrius Sidney (District 3), as well as write-in candidate for Tracy Unified School District Trustee Amy Thompson (Area 4) and current Tracy City Council Member Dottie Nygard were also present to provide their encouragement and support to Dan. All who attended enjoyed great conversation over delicious bites provided for the occasion and creative drinks crafted by the wonderful mixologists of The Lobby Bar.
By all accounts, the event was a great success…but the fight goes on! Go to www.danarriola.com to make a campaign contribution. And while you are at it, click on the names highlighted above to learn more about each of the other candidates running for offices in Tracy and contribute to their campaigns as well! With your help as members of the Democratic Club of Greater Tracy, we can effect real change for the better in our city!
