On Thursday, October 22 the club hosted our monthly Pints & Politics at Morgan Territory. This gathering was extra special as the club had also invited their endorsed candidates to attend, speak, and answer any questions!
The candidates who attended were:
Robin Cole, City Council, District 1
Amy Thompson, Write-in Candidate, Tracy Unified School District (TUSD) School Board Trustee Area 4
Dan Arriola, Mayor of Tracy
Ametrius Sidney, City Council, District 3
Unfortunately, Larkin Fleckner - candidate for Jefferson School District, Trustee Area 4 - was unable to join us as she was attending to her primary job of Mom, taking care of a sick kid, but she was with us in spirit as her campaign ramps up!
Each of the candidates took a few minutes to highlight their reasons for running and to engage with the attendees, pumping them up for Election Day, answering questions, and thanking them for their civil engagement.
Overall, the evening was a great success with new connections made within the community and providing an opportuity for all to get up close and personal with the Tracy Dream Team!
