The Senate just passed what they’re calling the “Big Beautiful Bill” but for working Americans, there’s nothing beautiful about it.
Behind the polished name is a harsh reality: this legislation delivers massive tax breaks and handouts to billionaires and corporate interests, while everyday people are left carrying the burden. Seniors, working families, and vulnerable communities stand to lose the most.
Let’s call this bill what it is: a top-down giveaway disguised as progress.

If this bill moves through the House, we could see:
Higher debt burdens on middle and lower-income families
Fewer opportunities for students, small business owners, and working parents
More power and perks for those already at the top
It’s trickle-down economics all over again and we’ve seen how that story ends.
